Hi!! I am a pilates instructor and former professional dancer. My dance career was cut short due to a knee injury, which at the time really broke my heart. Pilates helped me to heal and now I am a full time pilates instructor with my own studio!!! I have three different certificates in Pilates (Polestar, Stott, and Pilates International). After accelerating my career in Pilates, the development of a bulging disc in my lumbar spine (between L5 and S1) prompted me to completely re-evaluate what I had learned and training methods. To facilitate this evaluation, I furthered my studies in pilates, as well as researching into spine pathologies, studying anatomy, and increasing my knowledge on the mechanics of the spine and associated injuries.
